Build the search once
Start with a simple key term for your industry, like “janitorial” or “trucking”. Then add the filters that define your market: the states where you work, the country, set-asides such as woman-owned or service-disabled veteran-owned, and the notice types you can actually bid on, like solicitations and combined synopsis/solicitations.
Add it to auto search

Tips from the tutorial
- Cast a wide net. Every filter you add narrows what gets sent. Set-asides you do not hold can hide contracts you could still win.
- Skip the date filters. Auto search only sends new postings, so date ranges are unnecessary.
- Cover states separately. Federal and state databases are searched separately, so add a state-level auto search for states SAMstream supports.
